We all have our personal favorites when it comes to weather conditions. Some hate the winters, while some are scared of humid and hot weather. Nevertheless, one thing is for sure that we all dislike crazy, blowy wind as it’s more of a nuisance and a bane than a sort of enjoyment. Weather harshness is one thing. It’s seasonal and avoidable. But, with the wind, everything is so unpredictable that getting some relief becomes a huge predicament when one gets caught in windy weather.

And the following fifteen photos that we will share with you today will prove us correct. These are photos where people were caught off-guard by the wind and were swung into the air all of a sudden. From kids to adults and celebs to parents, everyone seems to be having a hard time dealing with windy weather, and we couldn’t help feel for these unsuspecting individuals. Let’s look at some of the worst situations when the strong wind caught up with people.

Adults can tolerate strong winds to some extent, but we cannot expect the same from children, especially those under the age of 5. Such little kids cannot take care of themselves when caught up in strong winds, and the result is usually a situation like the one you see in this photo.

Here a four-year-old girl gets swept off and swung into the air by the notorious winds somewhere in Northeast Ohio. It was a Wednesday morning when a strong gust hit the little child while trying to open the door. According to her mom, Brittany Gardner, who was an eyewitness to the incident, the girl screamed “Mom”, and that’s when she turned and realized the gravity of the situation. It was her kiddo pinned between the heavy glass door and the house. Thankfully, the toddler was OK and actually enjoyed this brief adventure as her mommy ran towards her to protect her.

Well, this picture is clear proof that kite surfing should never be done during windy weather. It is a sport that requires precision, time, and an appropriate environment, and such weather is detrimental for both the surfer and the onlookers.

This is particularly important when you are teaching a child. As evident, kite surfing in windy weather turned out to be a huge mistake for this kid as he gets lifted in the air. We are sure it must’ve been a nightmarish experience for this child. And, the mystery may never get resolved whether this kid came back or not. Many of you would think this is a funny picture, but it’s actually a tragedy.

None of you would negate the relaxing and rejuvenating impact a walk alongside the seashore usually is. Especially when you are stressed and want to unwind, the sea is where you get the much-needed serenity and composure. Those glistening waters and smoothening breeze create an utterly romantic and calming environment.

However, all of this happens when the wind is in your favor. On days when a storm is about to hit the shoreline, the result is something like what you see in the photo. Forget about enjoying the breathtaking sunset and panoramic ocean views, as all you would be thinking about is saving yourself from getting blown away. We hope and pray this individual could reach a safe place before the storm caused havoc around the place.

Tennis is a game where we enjoy the seamless projection of expertise on the court. And when Venus Williams is out there displaying her perfection on the game, the excitement twofold. But, what if the weather is not favoring the players?

On days when the wind is so erratic, playing a game of tennis could become rather embarrassing. Given the kind of outfits tennis players are expected to wear, these kinds of mishaps are bound to occur when the wind is too aggressive. Poor Williams, we are huge fans of her game, but this moment would go down as one of her career’s most embarrassing situations. And, the worst part is that it hasn’t got anything to do with her tennis expertise.

Whenever you have an expensive car at home, this picture would keep reminding you about the dangers stormy weather can cause if you don’t park it properly. The way this limo has been turned over indicates how aggressive the wind must be out there.

We have been wondering if it is a good idea to spend on a limo when you live in an area prone to storms and hurricanes. Perhaps, a 4×4 Jeep is a better option. At least, it would not be as easy for the wind to lift and topple it. What do you think?

Arguably one of the most widely shared viral photos from 2020 is this one, ladies and gentlemen. This is a tiny spaniel named Benny. Poor Benny wasn’t expecting the wind to be so harsh to him. But, the fact is that wind is no one’s friend and everyone’s enemy when it is ferocious.

We hope no one, whether human or an animal, is caught in a situation like this. Poor Benny must be scarred for life and might have developed a fear of the beach after unexpectedly witnessing the windiest and rainiest day of the year. The way he stays erect and exudes confidence while he gets clicked shows that even natural forces cannot deter the canine from enjoying life. Isn’t it so?

This photo could be real or fake. We don’t know for sure. But, the evident fact is that the sight is simply incredible. How can someone fly like this? Do you think the wind can lift a fully grown adult into the air just like a feather?

Let’s admit one fact today- no matter how advanced we become and how protective we feel, we are no less than an ant for mother nature. At least, this photo proves this assumption. We got hints of Jedi from Star Wars from this particular photo. The way he is sustaining himself in the strong, blowing wind is simply incredulous. Could it be that the man has the Force? He could be so, and if he indeed has it, then it is fair to state that he is a real-life Jedi whom the wind itself comes to the rescue. Or, the worst-case scenario is that it’s just your regular guy swept off his feet by the wild wind. What’s your take on this one?

The last thing we want at a party is someone spoiling our decorations or sabotaging our selfies. Isn’t it so? But what if that someone isn’t actually a human or an animal but a full blowing wind? Who are we to blame then if something goes wrong because of the wind?

The same seems to have happened at this chocolate fondue party. We must say, the party planners should have checked weather reports before organizing an outdoor event. Because that’s definitely not how the guests would have expected to enjoy the chocolate, did they? This picture speaks a thousand words for sure. We are still figuring out whether this man is pulling off a daring stunt or is simply a victim of bad weather (read windy) conditions? Do you really think someone can fly like this otherwise? We don’t think it is possible.

According to reports, two men identified as Tom Padham and Doovi Mike Dorfman were walking on the observation deck somewhere in Mount Washington. Given the 109mph wind blowing on 16 May 2016, one of them got blown in the air. Reportedly, this guy wasn’t trying any stunt and was blown away by a strong wind gust of 109 mph. Thankfully, both the individuals stayed unharmed.

Who doesn’t like to bounce on a trampoline? It’s an extremely healthy and exciting experience for kids of all ages and even grownups. Jumping on a trampoline is undoubtedly one of the best childhood memories of us all. We bet you won’t be able to disagree with that.

However, the good memories involve trampolines on the ground, placed on the outside of the house, in the garden or front yard. Not when it gets hit by the wind and ends up getting stuck at the roof, or the house’s outside walls. That’s a sight we have never seen before, and this photo has certainly turned out to be shocking for us. Maybe that’s what happens when you live in an area prone to receiving strong, wild winds. Then these kinds of incidents happen. We feel for the kids who couldn’t enjoy the trampoline that day as it wasn’t available on the ground.

This photo proves to us that anything is possible in this world. From talking, walking, and serving robots to detecting a house on the moon and a fire hydrant flying away due to strong wind gusts, everything is possible, right?

That’s ridiculous on the fire brigade’s part as one of their primary tasks is installing fire hydrants at crucial areas. But if this is how they install these devices, then all of us should pray for our safety both from the fire and the fire hydrants. We are sure the owner of this car must be pissed off to no extent. But, in our opinion, they should consider them lucky as the device only hit the car’s light and not their head.

If you are also one of those who often feel jealous of the well-manicured garden of your neighbors, believe us, you aren’t alone. We all have felt envious of our neighbors’ gardens and lawns and wanted to have a similar one but without much ado. Or else, we had secretly wished to have such strong winds that destroyed their garden.

It seems like such wicked wishes also get heard and granted by the Lord. At least, that’s what we can assume from this photo. But maybe the weather didn’t like her reporting style, which is why it stopped her by throwing the Stop sign onto her. However, she remained undeterred, so the wind had to resort to aggressive tactics and knocked Ms Ellenbogen to the ground.

The vengeance of hurling wind is something we all should start dreading because once it is worse, it becomes unstoppable. And the damage it causes is irreparable. At least, that’s what seems to be the case in this photo. The farmers were pissed off to no end after witnessing how the wind sabotaged their hard work.

The wind is not too friendly with agriculture, and when it is in its aggressive mode, it’s like a nightmare for farmers. We really wish there was some way to avoid damages like the one you see in the photo, but no one can control the wind. Agriculture can only flourish outdoors and cannot be shifted indoors. That’s why harvests get so severely affected by hurling winds, causing substantial financial losses to the farmers and all stakeholders.

We bet this photo would make you think twice before going out in the playground to spend some quality time with your little ones. This woman perhaps had no idea that strong wind could be detrimental for her, or maybe she didn’t expect the weather to be so harsh and unforgiving.

This lady decided to spend the afternoon playing with her child, but mommy dearest wore a loose blouse that was quickly blown up by the merciless wind, creating a somewhat awkward situation for her. We want to advise all mommies- always wear undergarments when playing with your kids outside if you want to avoid a similar situation.

We have always heard of summer and winter vacations, but today, we would like to suggest a brand-new occasion to have vacations- the windy weather vacations. This seems to be becoming a routine to get strong winds that could easily blow away kids, adults, and even furniture.

This school seems to have sluggish management because, as you can see, it is in a bad state. The only thing that comes to mind is that the school must be closed for winter vacays when the wind swept in. Otherwise, students would have no other choice but to enter the school via windows.

Windsurfing is an exciting surface water sport that combines two different techniques, surfing and sailing. This recreational sport is more prevalent at locations where the water surface is relatively flatter. However, little did we know that windsurfing is possible without any water.

We hope both the guys were safely back home because the wind seems to be ferocious and merciless. Nevertheless, this is the first time we have seen someone performing windsurfing on land.

The wind must hate people to no ends. What else could be the reason for creating so many hurdles and troubles for us to handle once it has subsided? Are we humans just a part of the overall collateral damage that results from strong wind gusts?

It definitely seems to be the case in most of the pictures we have seen so far. The wind has ruined our appearance, destroyed houses, made animals scared of their surroundings, and even caused schools to close down. Still, the hurling wind keeps taking us off guard by surpassing its previous antics with new, more aggressive displays of violence. Trampolines are the worst impacted objects when a strong wind hits the ground. That’s maybe because trampolines are items that have to be placed outside the home. It’s an outdoor activity, and since trampolines are usually not heavily weighted equipment, these easily get hurled here and there.

Previously on this list, we saw a trampoline getting stuck at the top of a house due to unforgiving winds. This time, the situation is worse as the trampoline is caught in electrical wires. That’s a dangerous scenario. We hope it was taken off unharmed. Whoever took it off must be a brave lad because dealing with electrical wires is not everyone’s cup of tea.

The gas station is one place that must remain open and available 24/7. You may never know when you would require refueling. But, when winds are strong, even gas stations are not spared by its violent behavior. This photo you see is clear proof of the unbiased nature of the wind.

Now, it’s a scary sight, to say the least. The wind targeted this gas station without paying heed to public woes and caused havoc around. The damage was so terrible and widespread that the cops had to be called in to handle the situation. This shows the extent of damage and financial losses wild hurling winds can cause businesses.

When you have fluffballs as cute and cuddly as these two in the photograph, you are bound to feel compelled to click them together. Perhaps, the owner of these two cutie pies must have thought the same but ended up getting caught in crazy blowing winds, and all they got was an endless array of missed poses.

The one thing we should admire is the way these cute dogs are staying patient against the odds to let their owner click their photo together. The wind is definitely strong. As you can see, one of the puppies is overwhelmed by the wind gust. It must be a hair raising experience for this cute pup.

From another perspective, this picture is a bit hilarious as it portrays that trees are also prone to bad hair days if that applies to them. Do you think this tree would have survived the ordeal? Is wind so powerful to lift a fully matured tree off the ground along with the piece of land? We have no idea how the homeowners would have responded to this emergency as the trees might have severely damaged the property’s exterior. It becomes clear that wind can never do anything positive.

Apparently, it was a bad idea because she must have had a hard time managing her outfit. Doesn’t this picture give you Marilyn Monroe vibes? Who can forget that iconic image where the legendary late actress’s white skirt flies in the air due to wind and reveals her underwear. But, this woman isn’t that lucky as her rainbow-colored skirt is a bit too high up in the air and reveals her black underwear in an unflattering way.

Another one of the many wardrobe malfunctions wind is known to have caused. This lady followed the list of windy weather don’ts to the T, and the result was an embarrassing situation. As you can see in the photo, her boat ride was ruined by the cool, strong breeze that must have kept blowing her skirt and exposing her undergarment from all the wrong angles.

We would like to recommend never wearing a skirt, or to be more precise, such a short skirt when going on a cruise ship or even a simple boat ride. That’s the most important rule you should be following if you want to avoid getting pictured in awkward poses.

Wearing short skirts is usually no big deal, but when the wind is wild and fierce, that’s a huge NO. If you don’t align your outfit of the day with the weather, the consequences could be disastrous. Remember that social media trolls are hunting for moments like these that they could capture and use in their memes and funny GIFs.
