However, in our opinion, inappropriate would be a better word choice. There are certain situations where it is pretty appropriate for a female to enter a store in a swimsuit. Such as if it is a shop at the beach, a souvenir shop in a water park, or a tourist hotspot where everyone is clad in swimwear. But at Walmart, well, it definitely isn’t appropriate.

What else can explain this photo? Probably she couldn’t figure out what to wear in that weather. We do agree, this isn’t the best of times to dress up. Maybe it is the typical day-to-day living dilemma- “what should I wear,” or “I have nothing to wear.” All of us experience this situation at least once a day or be very lenient on alternate days. It’s an inevitable question that pops into our mind as soon as we decide to go out, even if it is something as less exciting as doing the groceries.

Usually, people don’t seem to realize that the issue isn’t with the number of clothes but what to match with which piece of clothing. The true struggle is to search, plan, organize, and experiment with clothing, that we all dread. Grocery shopping all by yourself is not as entertaining, we agree. But choosing to remove the bra just to make shopping time more exciting is not our cup of tea either. Okay, we get it. Though Walmart has provided us an unimaginably long list of weird clothing, this one takes the cake. We are still scratching our heads, thinking whether it is shorts or some lesser-known trend. If it is the latter, we are glad it didn’t make it to mainstream fashion, and if it’s the former, that’s an incredibly wrong choice of shorts. Unfortunately, we live in a society where people judge each other by their looks and never bother about knowing the person well. Oscar Wilde said that “you can never be overdressed or overeducated.” Agreed! So, what would you say about this lady? But the youth these days do not want to conform to such norms. They don’t care about people, and all they think matters are four eyes, their own and their partner’s. So making a conscious effort to appear suitable is a way of self-care for them. “Making a conscious effort to feel and look good, whether it’s with your undergarments, your eyeshadow or your socks, is a way of treating yourself,” Shakaila explained.
