Though we know and hear a lot about Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump’s relationship and how other Trump kids are in general, surprisingly, we know much less about Barron Trump, the youngest sibling. 

Barron Trump is the only child of Melania Trump and the former president’s youngest child. From a quirky child to America’s first son, Barron Trump had had a happening life even before he turned fifteen. That’s the kind of life many can only dream about. Still, we have no idea about the likes and interests of Barron Trump. That’s why we decided to dig deep and find out all you might want to know about the former president’s youngest family member. Born in 2006, Barron Trump is the youngest member of the Trump family, where his oldest sibling is 29 years older than him. He has grown up in a household where all of his siblings are pretty older than him. Perhaps that’s why Barron is closer to his nieces and nephews, particularly Ivanka Trump’s daughter Arabella Rose Kushner. People often claim that Barron Trump resembles his father the most in looks, features, and character traits out of all his children.

Well, it is too early to conclude anything like that because he is just an adolescent. But, we have to admit that despite being in a high-profile position for so many years, Barron Trump has remained out of controversies. In fact, he is usually seen wearing suits whenever he makes a public appearance alongside his parents. This indicates that Barron Trump likes to play it safe all the time and stay out of controversies. How else would you explain a teenager’s preference for suits over jeans and tees?

Donald Trump might have picked the name Barron for his youngest born, but, reportedly, it is Melania with whom Barron Trump is the closet. It isn’t too surprising since the former president mainly had been a hands-off parent. In a 2005 interview with Larry King Live, Donald Trump noted that he could not change diapers or run errands because that’s not his thing. But, he can provide for his family, and that’s what he believes he excels at.

Whether it goes down well with you or not, Melania Trump is perfectly fine with this arrangement. In fact, she likes to perform all the chores for her son, from prepping breakfast to playing with him. When she started her skincare line, Barron was one of the first users of her products. Such is their bond. While giving an interview to ABC News, Melania Trump stated that she covered Barron in her brand’s moisturizer, Caviar Complex C6, every night and that Barron loved its smell.

Barron’s parents were always pretty relaxed when he drew on their high-profile residence walls at the top floor of the Trump Tower. From a young age, Barron had this penchant for drawing and expressing his creative instincts through drawings. Luckily, he was allowed to draw on the walls without hesitating. There were rumors that Barron was autistic, but Mr. and Mrs. Trump never really addressed those rumors. So, we never received any clarification from the Trumps over these issues. 

While on The Mommy Helper Show, in 2011, Melania revealed how she always looked forward to spending time with her son and even ran her business from home. She arranged activities for her only son, from playing tennis and golf to playing indoor games while seated on the floor.”I like to spend as much time as possible with him because, you know, children… they need your attention. They need to see that you’re involved, and they really want their mommy there,” the then-future first lady shared.

Where the other members of the Trump household make sure their every move and thought is captured by the public eye, the youngest member of the family likes to stay away from all the glitz and glamor. Even when his dad, Donald Trump, was the country’s president, he liked to stay home rather than following the POTUS on his never-ending national/international trips. That’s a different Trump altogether.

It is quite amusing that Barron wasn’t impressed by the flashy lives his family was accustomed to and preferred to stay indoors. While in the White House, he missed his previous residence, the family’s ultra-luxurious Manhattan penthouse. Probably because he had decorated his floor and all the walls had his drawings. Or maybe, the White House’s subdued interiors put him off. Still, that’s quite unlikely for someone who lives a life so full of luxuries that most Americans cannot afford even if they work 24/7. 

Being the child of a real estate magnate is no ordinary thing because it makes you entitled to own properties. And that’s what Barron is doing. Even when he was in his early childhood, he owned property. The former POTUS’s youngest child’s net worth is a staggering $3,500 million. Can you believe that? He not only has a towering personality but an equally towering net worth. And he achieved all this before hitting 15. 

Coming back to the property he owns, Barron reportedly owns an entire floor of the Trump Tower Penthouse where the Trumps resided before moving to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It is a huge three-level, 58 story penthouse located on the top floor of the mighty Trump Tower. This house’s interior is inspired by the Palace of Versailles, and pure gold has been used lavishly all over.

Let’s credit Melania and Donald Trump for opting to raise their son in a traditional American environment instead of relying on house help and nannies despite having all the resources to hire an entire team of babysitters. Rather than letting a stranger take care of her newborn, Melania decided to take matters into her hands and called her parents over to help her with this utterly taxing phase of her life. 

Melania later revealed in many of her interviews that she never liked the concept of hiring nannies for young children. She wanted to do everything for her son and develop a strong connection with him. That’s why the mother-son are so close to each other. Melania Trump is proud of her son and said that being a mom is her first job. “I am a full-time mom; that is my first job. The most important job ever,” Melania told Parenting. “I started my business when he started school,” she said. Still, she used to do everything for her son, from playing with him to taking him to school and preparing his meals. 

Barron’s creative streak is not a secret to anyone. Everyone who has seen his room in the White House and the Trump Tower knows how inclined Barron always is to decorate his room as per his liking. According to Melania Trump, her son took a deep interest in his room’s décor from a young age. His room in the Trump Tower Penthouse appeared different from other rooms as he loved decorating it with cars, helicopters, airplanes, and other toys. It was like a toy paradise for any kid.

But, quite contrary to his father, who prefers things to be flashy and extravagant, Barron likes to keep his room all draped in white and spotless. We believe he must have enjoyed his stay at the White House as the place is known for its fine all-white linen. Melania told Parenting magazine that Barron owns a whole floor in the Trump Tower, which the couple refers to as Barron’s living room in their home. He owns an entire floor because he likes to draw on the walls, so they wanted to provide him with an extensive canvas. 

As an infant and throughout his childhood, Barron Trump kept making television appearances, including Oprah Winfrey’s show Oprah. In fact, he has appeared on Oprah’s show twice. The first time he made an appearance on the show was as an infant in May 2006 and later in 2011. Barron Trump has also appeared on his dad’s show The Apprentice. The kid was lucky enough to meet the queen of talk shows when he was only two months old. 

Both times, Barron appeared on Oprah’s show with his mom and dad. Then Trump Jr. made several noteworthy appearances and even walked the red carpet and joined his dad at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony before turning one. However, sharing the screen with Oprah is definitely an achievement for anyone. 

Generally, people associate golf with adults only, particularly older adults. But, here you have Barron Trump, a quirky fifteen-year-old who is an avid golfer. There’s no doubt that Trump Jr. is an extraordinarily gifted boy because he has become a pro at golf at such a young age. Reportedly, he often accompanies his dad whenever he plays golf, and the two spend some quality time on the green fields. Not only this, Barron is aware of the significance of golf as a sport and a business, too. 

Sources claim that Barron often plays golf at home too, and apart from that, he is interested in playing tennis, baseball, and ping pong. However, golf is his favorite. Recently, he was seen playing golf with his father in Palm Beach’s golf course and didn’t hesitate to show off his swing. In an interview, Donald Trump’s former butler, Anthony Senecal, told Inside Edition that Barron had inherited several of his father’s character traits. Recalling an incident when Trump Jr. was only two years old, Senecal was serving breakfast to the family. At that time, little Barron, sitting on his high chair, addressed him as Tony and told him that he wanted to talk about something. The way Barron said it surprised Anthony because Donald Trump used to address and speak to him in the exact same style.

But that’s not the only thing that’s common between the father-son duo. Like Donald, Barron also likes to have his name written on his toys, tees, and almost everything he owns. If you think Barron would be interested in teen clothing more than anything else regarding dressing style, you are mistaken. This young Trump is clearly following his father’s footsteps and likes to wear suits. This indicates junior Trump loves formal dressing more than casual attire. Before real estate magnate Donald Trump entered the White House, he had access to exemplary resident chefs. He and his clan could have eaten every possible cuisine in the world right at their home. Still, the family seems to have relatively simpler tastes when it comes to satisfying hunger pangs. Don’t you remember the famous incident when the ex-president of the USA ordered burgers and fries when the North Dakota State University’s football team visited the White House?

So, Mr. Trump’s favorite food is McDonald’s and KFC, and he was also the ambassador for Pizza Hut for some time. The same goes for Barron Trump. He also isn’t too interested in lavish dining. Instead, he prefers all those things that any other kid his age would love to have. Reportedly, Barron Trump is a huge ice cream lover. Now that’s a natural talent. But, we aren’t too surprised as Barron Trump seems to be a powerhouse of talents. One of his many skills is that he can fluently speak different languages. Apart from English, which he gained fluency in because of being born to an American father and living in the USA throughout his life so far, Barron is fluent in Slovenian. Melania Trump is a Slovenian, so it is evident that his mother and grandparents helped him learn their native language.

But, Barron has a more profound interest in learning new languages. Sources claim that he can fluently speak several East European languages, including French. He is also interested in learning Mandarin. In a 2009 interview with People, Mrs. Trump bragged how her then-three-year-old son could speak Slovenian, French, and English. He attended an incredibly expensive prep institute in Manhattan, and language skills are a critical element of such schools’ curriculum. So, we think for someone already keenly interested in learning new languages. This would have been greatly helpful.

Many speculations and rumors have circulated about Barron Trump’s name, but most are untrue. Part of the speculations was the belief that Donald named his son Barron as he liked the name. Between 1980 and 1991, Trump used several fake names to represent himself in the media. One of them was John Baron. However, the reality is that it was a well-planned decision to name his son Barron William Trump.

After his birth, his dad Donald Trump and mom Melania Trump decided to name their son after their respective fathers. Therefore, he was named Barron after Donald’s father, and William was included in his name to represent Melania’s father. Melania believes that despite having the names of his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Barron has developed many traits of his father. In fact, she said they call him Little Donald at home because, like his father, junior Trump has turned out to be an opinionated and independent individual. 

You may find it hard to believe that since the 1960s, after the sad demise of President John F. Kennedy, no male child had entered the White House until Donald Trump was sworn in as the country’s president. Interestingly, all the other presidents in the past fifty years either had daughters or their kids didn’t live in the White House, be it president Nixon or Johnson, Bush, Clinton, or Obama. 

This makes Barron Trump the only boy to have lived in the White House since Kennedy junior. The three presidents who held the office before Trump, Bush, Clinton, and Obama, had daughters, and Reagan, Carter, and George W. H. Bush had adult sons who chose to live outside of the legendary White House. Hence, Barron Trump is the second youngest First Son to live in the White House in five decades.

Barron Trump attended the same school where Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ally Sheedy, Moby Dick, and novelist Herman Melville have studied, the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. That’s although not a barometer for judging someone’s academic excellence, getting into this school isn’t as easy as you may think it is. This shows Barron Trump is a bright student. Plus, he has always received good grades and made his parents proud at school.

There’s no doubt that Barron can afford to study in any school he wants to as his parents spend lavishly on his education. Hence, he has studied in the most prestigious schools in America. After shifting to the White House, Barron Trump made history by moving to St. Andrews Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, because for the past 35 years, every president’s children had attended Sidwell Friends. So, Barron is the first First Son to change the tradition. His tuition fee was a massive $40,000 annually.

Not many are aware that someone who appears so groomed and polished while in public also has a geeky side to his personality. Well, believe it or not, Barron likes to spend time alone, and as a kid, he used to play all by himself for most of the time. According to Parenting magazine, he loved playing with Legos and Magna-Tiles. Junior Trump is fond of building tall structures and also enjoys playing Steam games. However, he never shared his username.

You may also not know that Barron Trump has his own Twitter account and is quite a pro troubleshooting hardware issues. Whenever his parents are facing a computer-related emergency, he’s there to the rescue. Barron is also interested in sports. In November 2018, the former First Lady of the USA mentioned in her speech at a forum at Liberty University that her son is “all into sports.”

Melania Trump is a tall woman, and former US President Donald Trump is also quite tall. So, it is not too surprising that their son would have benefitted from their genes. But, we hadn’t imagined that Barron would grow taller than his parents even before turning 15. Mrs. Trump is 5 feet 11 inches tall. If only she isn’t wearing those stilettos that make her tower everyone else around, while Donald is above 6 feet in height.

Their son Barron reached the height of his mother when he was just 11 years old. You must have noticed in his recent photos that he now looks taller than both of his parents. Isn’t this unbelievable? Although his official height is not confirmed as yet, we can tell from the photos that he will get past all of his siblings as far as height is concerned, and that too, in much less time. 

Barron Trump is the apple of his grandparents’ eyes, and we are not surprised even a bit. After all, he is their only grandson, as yet. Trump junior shares a strong bond with his grandparents primarily because they have been living with him all this while. It is but natural to develop a close bond with someone who’s around 24/7 and showers you with love and support every step of the way.

Barron’s maternal grandparents, Amaljia Knavs and Viktor Knavs, immigrated to the USA from Slovenia after their daughter married real estate tycoon Donald Trump. They are now American citizens and lives in New York, nearby their daughter’s residence. They spend a lot of their time looking after Barron, which is why he gained fluency in his mother’s first language and formed a solid connection with his grandparents. When the Trump clan moved to the White House, the Knavs also accompanied them.

As the first boy to live in the White House since the 1960s, Barron Trump did have more contact with his father than Donald’s other grown kids. But, the hard reality is that they hardly get to spend quality time together. We do know that Barron Trump is more than a decade younger than Donald Trump’s next youngest child.

When Barron was only five, he expressed his intention to understand how the universe worked and even bough telescopes to look far in the sky. This young man wanted to unearth the little-known secrets of the plane and beyond all by himself. Since junior Trump was born under the dog sign, and according to Chinese astrology, his birth sign is fire. These signs are related to exemplary wisdom. Hence, Barron is bound to have the innate potential to display his intellect in versatile domains.
